Alabama Pro Athlete of the Week – Khaleb McRae (February 16, 2026)

Your Alabama Pro Athlete of the Week is Khaleb McRae. At the Tyson Invitational, McRae won the Men’s 400 Meter with a time of 44.52 seconds. McRae’s time set a new national record and is the second-fastest indoor 400 meter time ever.

Others of note:

Olivia Fotopoulou won the Women’s 200 Meter and set a new Cypriot national record at the Paiania Indoor meet.

Jereem Richards finished 2nd to Khaleb McRae in the Men’s 400 Meter at the Tyson Invitational.

Kimberley Ficenec set a new personal best, and finished 2nd in the Women’s 800 Meter in Ostrava.

Mye’Joi Williams finsihed 2nd in the Women’s Shot Put at the Indoor Music City Challenge.

Brandon Miller had a 31 point, 9 rebound game for Charlotte, and extended his successful free throw streak to 53 straight free throws.

Noah Clowney had a 22 point, 6 rebound game for Brooklyn.

Collin Sexton had a 21 point, 5 rebound game for Chicago.
