Daily Recap – September 10, 2020

Derrick Henry addressed the media via Zoom call on Thursday. He also did this spot for Special Olympics Tennessee this week.

Henry Ruggs had a media availability as well today. He comes in at about the 16:50 mark.

Spencer Turnbull appears on the latest episode of the Upper Room podcast.

Trey Mullinax set the pace in the first round of the Evans Scholars Invitational (Korn Ferry Tour). He shot an opening round 66 to lead by a stroke.

A’Shawn Robinson planned to opt out of the 2020 season under the high-risk category. Instead, he and the Rams worked out a creative solution to keep his options open until later in the season.

Getting cut by Baltimore, and the ensuing physical in Denver, probably saved Cyrus Jones’ life. Now, following successful open-heart surgery, he’s eyeing a return to the NFL.

Well-done remembrance of the 100th anniversary of Joe Sewell’s major league debut, this time by a real journalist instead of a hack.

And how about Caleb Castille being promoted to a series regular for the upcoming season of NCIS: Los Angeles!
