News

Daniel Giddens has signed his first professional contract. He joined Union Neuchâtel of the Swiss Basketball League this week, and appeared in his first exhibition game today.

Dicky Pride enters the final round of the PURE Insurance Championship tomorrow in solo 2nd, one stroke out of the lead. He’ll try to become the first Alabama golfer to win a Champions Tour event since Jerry Pate won the Turtle Bay Championship in January 2008.

We mentioned yesterday that former Alabama Hockey forward Jeremy Hannah recently signed a pro contract in Sweden. Here’s a great piece on Hannah’s unlikely path to professional hockey.

Spencer Turnbull had a quality start, pitching into the 7th inning, and turning in a career-best 5 innings in which he retired the side in order. Here are his post-game comments.
