At this point in Derrick Henry’s career, it’s tough to put up career numbers, but he did again today, posting 264 yards from scrimmage (212 yards rushing, 52 yards receiving) and scoring 2 touchdowns in Tennessee’s 40-34 OT win over Houston. Henry scored the game-winning score on a direct snap in overtime, and also broke off his second career TD run of over 90 yards. Highlights from the King:

Julio Jones, having been slowed in recent games by a hamstring injury, looked to be fully healed today, as he pulled down 137 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns.

Today also marked the professional debut of Tua Tagovailoa. Our Sweet Hawaiian Prince came on late in the 4th quarter, with Miami leading 24-0. Tagovailoa completed his first two passes. But what was even more noteworthy was what happened after the game. After the stadium was cleared, Tagovailoa returned to the field, still in uniform, and sat at the 15-yard line for several minutes to take it all in (turns out he Facetime’ed his parents since they weren’t at the game).

Here are some other highlights from today, including Cam Sim’s first career touchdown, another Calvin Ridley touchdown, and a Minkah Fitzpatrick pick six.

Pre-game Bammer summit in Minneapolis.

Mark Ingram (ankle), Anthony Averett (shoulder), and Raekwon Davis (shoulder) all left their games with injuries and didn’t return. Severity of the injuries is unknown at this time.
Couple of big games today in Asian baskeball leagues from former Alabama players. Richard Hendrix had a 22 point, 8 rebound, 4 assist game in Japan, and Justin Knox had a 19 point, 12 rebound game in South Korea.
Arthur Edwards becomes the latest Alabama athlete to have team games postponed due to COVID-10. Edwards’ team, BBC Monthey Chablis, was scheduled to play Basel Starwings today, but the Basel team has been placed in quarantine. It would have been Edwards’ debut in the Swiss Basketball League.
