The Baltimore Ravens announced this morning that it had been notified that a Ravens player had tested positive for COVID-19. Shortly thereafter, Marlon Humphrey tweeted out that he was the player that tested positive. Humphrey has been placed on the COVID-19 Reserve list, and at a minimum, is out for next week’s game.
Former Alabama star Paul Crane died in Mobile yesterday at age 76. Crane was an All-American center on the 1964 and 1965 national championship teams, and also played linebacker for Alabama. He’d play professionally with the New York Jets, and was a member of the Super Bowl III championship team with Joe Namath. Crane would later coach at Alabama under Coach Bryant before turning his focus to high school coaching. He was enshrined in the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in 1994.
