News

Justin Thomas finished solo 4th at the Masters, marking his career-best finish in the event and second-best finish ever in a major. He has Top 10 finishes in the last two majors.

Tua Tagovailoa won his 3rd consecutive start, leading Miami to a 29-21 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. On the day, Tagovailoa had 169 passing yards and 2 TDs, and became the first Alabama starting quarterback in the NFL to win 3 straight starts since Richard Todd in 1983. Tagovailoa now has 5 passing touchdowns and 0 interceptions in his first 3 starts, which ties him for the 3rd most passing TDs in a quarterback’s first 3 starts without throwing an interception since 1950.

Damien Harris, Josh Jacobs, and Kenyan Drake all had 100 yard rushing games, and when joined by Derrick Henry Thursday night, comprised 4 100-yard rushing games by Alabama RBs in Week 10. Harris had 126 yards, a new career high, to lead New England to a surprise win over Baltimore. He now has 3 100-yard efforts in 6 games this season. Jacobs added 2 TDs to his 112 yard total in Las Vegas’ big win over Denver. Drake had an even 100 yards in his first game back after a Week 7 ankle injury.

Today’s Toppserien (Norway) season finale between Vålerenga (Maruschka Waldus) and Arna-Bjørnar (Pia Rijsdijk) has been postponed due to multiple positive tests on the A-B side. Vålerenga was a win away from its first-ever Toppserien championship, which will have to wait a few more days.

Kristian Gkolomeev set another new personal best and a new Greek record in the 50m freestyle at the International Swim League semifinals in Hungary, at 20.80 seconds. Gkolomeev also led his team to a win in the 4x100m free relay with the 2nd fastest segment in the event.
