News

Kira Lewis Jr. had to wait five months for the NBA Draft to finally take place, but he now has an NBA home. With the 13th pick in the draft, Lewis was selected by the New Orleans Pelicans. Lewis ties Ennis Whatley for the 6th highest NBA draft pick in Alabama history, and is the 5th Alabama lottery pick in the lottery era (since 1985).

Here is Kira’s first conference with the New Orleans media.

And it’s not a proper draft without a custom fit!

We’ll have more media reaction to the Lewis pick tomorrow.

In non-Kira news, Tua Tagovailoa has his weekly media availability with the Miami press today. Here’s a recap of what he said.

Collin Sexton surprised his mother for her 50th birthday.
