Senior Bowl activities got underway in earnest today, with weigh-in and measurements taking place in the morning, and first practices in the afternoon. DeVonta Smith chose to defer his height and weight measurements until Alabama’s Pro Day (yet to be scheduled, but presumably in March), though the other six member of the Alabama contingency did. Smith did do hand, arm, and wingspan measurements. Deonte Brown, Landon Dickerson, and Alex Leatherwood combined to weigh 1,004 pounds.
DeVonta Smith also mentioned to the media that he’s had conversations with Tua Tagovailoa about how much they’d like a reunion. Meanwhile Dolphins coach Brian Flores came to Smith’s defense regarding Smith’s decision to skip the weigh-in.
