Jereem Richards won the 300m sprint at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix with a time of 32.71 seconds. Richards, a 200m specialist, outpaced several quarter-milers for the win.

Alexa Guarachi and partner Desirae Krawczyk advanced to the third round of the Australian Open with a 3-set win over Arina Radionova and Storm Sanders. They’ll face Coco Gauff and Catherine McNally in the next round.

Retin Obasohan and ERA Nymburk coasted to tomorrow’s Czech Cup finals with a 103-64 win over Královští Sokoli.

Corban Collins and the Helsinki Seagulls won Finland’s Suomen Cup today with a 97-95 win over Tampereen Pyrintö. Collins contributed to the win with 5 3-pointers off the bench.

Taylor Guilbeau cleared waivers and has been assigned outright to the Reno Aces of the newly-named Triple-A West League. He will still get a spring training invite.

Joshua Sedeno finished -17, T-11th at the Outlaw Tour event in Tempe, Arizona today. This finish comes on the heels of a couple of Top 10s on the tour.

Kira Lewis’ early progression shows that he could be part of New Orleans’ present, as well as its future.

Freddie Kitchens was promoted by the New York Giants organization to the role of senior offensive assistant. Kitchens served as the team’s tight ends coach last season.

Mac Jones recently befriended Xavier “Zay” Lee, a 14-year-old cancer patient in Mobile. The post below tells some of Zay’s story, and there’s also a Go Fund Me set up for Zay’s family.
