Retin Obasohan led Belgium with a team-high 19 points, as the Lions defeated Denmark 88-65 to officially qualify for the 2022 FIBA EuroCup. Obasohan added 5 rebounds, had a 22 efficiency rating, and was +24, also all team highs. Belgium still has one more game in its round robin (against the Czech Republic next week).
Olivia Fotopoulou’s strong indoor season continued today, as she set another new personal best and Cypriot national record in the 200 meter sprint. In the heats at the Spanish Indoor Championships, she finished first with a time of 23.63 seconds. Fotopoulou wasn’t eligible to compete in the finals, so she was running as an exhibition since she trains in Spain.
Lee Hodges and Davis Riley both posted 66’s in the 3rd round of the LECOM Suncoast Classic to move into the Top 10. Both go into the final round at -9, T6, 3 shots behind the co-leaders. Riley is one win away from immediate promotion to the PGA Tour, so we’ll be watching this closely tomorrow.
