Jeremy Fowler reported tonight that Jarran Reed is on the verge of signing a one-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that the contract is a $7 million deal, with $5 million guaranteed. Reed was released by the Seattle Seahawks on Friday in a salary cap move.
