Justin Thomas shot a 67 today in second round play at the Masters to move to -4, T-6th. Thomas had 6 birdies and a final-hole bogey on the day, and sank 3 straight birdies on holes 11, 12, and 13, which make up Augusta National’s fabled “Amen Corner.”

Shams Charania of The Atlantic is reporting that Orlando is expected to sign Donta Hall to a 10-day contract. The Orlando Sentinel further reports that the deal is excepted to be announced next week.

Alex Avila was among a number of players reinstated from the 10-Day Injured List by Washington today. Avila and the other players had previously been placed on the list under COVID protocols for either positive tests or contact tracing. Avila did not appear in today’s Nationals game.

Cam Robinson officially signed his franchise tag tender today. Robinson will make approximately $14 million on the one-year deal.

Spencer Turnbull has relocated to Detroit’s alternate training site, and could pitch in an alt-site game or a simulated game as early as this weekend.

Kira Lewis returned to action tonight after having missed three straight games with a right calf strain.

Raekwon Davis and Jerry Jeudy appear to have gone on a watch-shopping trip together.
