Jereem Richards and Daniel Haugh had big days at the USATF Grand Prix at the Oregon Relays today. Richards won the 200 meter sprint in a season-best time of 20.26 seconds. Haugh took the bronze in the men’s hammer throw with a personal-best throw of 76.47 meters.

Krystal Rivers’ season came to an unceremonious end today, as Dresden took the deciding game of the Volley Bundesliga championship series vs. Stuttgart in straight sets. Rivers missed Games 4 & 5 with an undisclosed illness, which opened the door for Dresden to overcome a 2-0 deficit to win the series 3-2.

Jabriel Washington was inducted into the Jackson-Madison County (TN) Sports Hall of Fame on Thursday.

Looks like the Bahamas may be the next country that withdraws from the upcoming World Relays, and Pauline Davis-Thompson is concerned that it might be for the wrong reasons.

Kirani James competed in his first race since the 2019 World Championships in the fall of 2019 today at the Canyon Invitational at Grand Canyon University. He won the 400 meter with a time of 44.88 seconds.

Former Alabama gymnast Morgan Dennis Morris will be speaking at a College Gymnastics Alumni Forum virtual event tomorrow night. The event will be streamed at the group’s Facebook page.
