Top-seeded Alexa Guarachi and partner Desirae Krawczyk cruised to a 6-2, 6-3 finals win at the Internationaux de Strasbourg today. The win marked Guarachi’s 25th career doubles title and her 5th on the WTA Tour. Four of the five WTA titles have come with Krawczyk as a partner. It’s Guarachi’s 3rd doubles title in 202.

Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts laid out a timeline today for Jimmy Nelson’s potential return from the Injured List. Roberts indicated that Nelson began throwing yesterday, would throw off a mound on Sunday, and would throw live batting practice early next week. If all goes well, Nelson could be activated on the Dodgers’ road trip to Atlanta next week.

Dave Robertson did an interview with the New York Post discussing his reasons for playing for Team USA in the upcoming WBSC games, and how he hopes it’s a springboard back into major league baseball.
