The US Open held sectional qualifiers for the upcoming major, and it was a big day for three Alabama golfers. In Atlanta, Davis Shore took medalist honors at -11. At Hilton Head, Wilson Furr, who got in as an alternate today, finished in a four-way tie for first at -5. And Robby Shelton finished -6, T-2nd at the qualifier in Springfield, Ohio. The three golfers will join Justin Thomas, who is already exempt, at Torrey Pines later this month.

David Robertson was interviewed on MLB Network today to discuss his experiences with Team USA and the upcoming Olympics.

Julio Jones arrived in Nashville today, and the Titans social media was around to capture it.

Free agent Dre Kirkpatrick is visiting the New Orleans Saints tomorrow. A signing by the Saints would mean that all 32 NFL teams have an Alabama player on the post-season roster.
