St. Louis Cardinal manager Mike Schildt announced today that Wade LeBlanc would be shut down for the season, and would have some form of elbow procedure in the coming weeks. LeBlanc, who would be a free agent, would be ready for the beginning of 2022 spring training.
Kirani James closed out the 2021 Diamond League season with by finishing 2nd in a photo finish at the final meet in Zurich. By all measures, it’s been an overwhelmingly success comeback for James. In 9 races this year, James finished outside of the Top 3 only once.
Amari Cooper had a stellar season debut in NFL’s opening night tonight, catching a career-high 13 balls for 139 yards and 2 touchdowns. Cooper’s 13 receptions are the most-ever by a Cowboy receiver in a season opener, and it’s his 10th career game with 10 or more receptions. See clips below.
