Daily Recap – January 13, 2022

To no one’s surprise, Evan Neal announced his intentions to enter the 2022 NFL draft. With there not being a high profile quarterback in this year’s draft, Neal is a lock to be a Top 5 pick, if not the top overall pick.

Jameson Williams also made his intentions of entering the NFL draft known. Williams won’t be able to do any workouts, but is still expected to be a first-round pick.

In advance of Jalen Hurts’ first playoff appearance, ESPN’s Tim McManus takes a look at what makes Hurts tick.

Pro Football Focus released its 2021 All-Rookie Team today. Alabama players dominated, with Christian Barmore, Najee Harris, Mac Jones, DeVonta Smith, Patrick Surtain II, and Jaylen Waddle all recognized.

Braxton Key scored a career-best 30 points, along with 13 rebounds and 4 assists, in his return to the G League tonight. Delaware won 111-107 over Maine.

We reported last week that Chandler Taylor had been placed on the voluntarily retired list by the Houston organization. Taylor confirms his retirement in an Instagram post today:
