Mekhi Brown and Bradley Sylve were drafted in tonight’s USFL draft. Brown was drafted by the Tampa Bay Bandits in the second round (which was designated for defensive end / edge rushers), while Sylve was drafted by the Philadelphia Stars in the 11th round (designated for cornerbacks). One-time Alabama signee Charles Baldwin, who was dismissed before he played in a game, was drafted in the seventh round by the Pittsburgh Maulers.

Erin Routliffe advanced to the quarterfinals of the Qatar TotalEnergies Open with a three-set win over the tournament’s 7-seeds. Alexa Guarachi, seeded 5th in the doubles draw, lost her round of 16 match today in three sets.
