Brown was drafted by the Tampa Bay Bandits in the second round (which was designated for defensive end / edge rushers), while Sylve was drafted by the Philadelphia Stars in the 11th round (designated for cornerbacks). One-time Alabama signee Charles Baldwin, who was dismissed before he played in a game, was drafted in the seventh round by the Pittsburgh Maulers.
