Jarran Reed has reportedly signed a 1-year contract with the Green Bay Packers, and confirmed the signing himself via Twitter. Reed reportedly signed following a visit with the team today. Reed also visited the Cincinnati Bengals recently.

Adam Morgan has signed a minor league deal with the Houston Astros, and is in camp with the team as a non-roster invitee.

The Ringer takes a deep advanced stats look at how Herbert Jones has boosted the New Orleans Pelicans’ lineup in Zion Williamson’s absence.

Spencer Turnbull and the Detroit Tigers remain about $775,000 apart on a 2022 contract, and appear headed for arbitration at today’s filing deadline. Turnbull filed for a $2.1 million contract, while the Tigers countered with a $1.325 million number. Both sides will be more willing to file since the 2022 number will set the base for 2023, when Turnbull will be fully recovered from elbow surgery.

Levi Randolph and Filou Oostende concluded Champions League play. Oostende lost its Round of 16 finale today, and won’t advance to the quarterfinal.

Krystal Rivers and Stuttgart were defeated by Istanbul for the CEV Cup, 2-0. The runner-up finish for the CEV Cup is the best finish in Stuttgart’s history.
