Alabama held its first Pro Day for draft eligible players today at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility, with players doing weigh-ins, bench presses, sprints, agility drills, and positional drills. Draft-eligible participants included Jalyn Armour-Davis, Slade Bolden, Christian Harris, Phidarian Mathis, Evan Neal, Chris Owens, LaBryan Ray, Brian Robinson, and Daniel Wright. Christopher Allen, Josh Jobe, John Metchie, and Jameson Williams are rehabbing injuries and did not participate in drills. All 32 NFL teams were represented at the workout.

JaMychal Green missed a second straight game with a wrist injury.

Anton McKee has joined ANSA Athletics as an advisor. ANSA Athletics works with Scandinavian athletes on identifying collegiate and professional athletic opportunities.

Daniela Lendl, who’s already the first female rules official on the Korn Ferry Tour, spent last week setting up the course at the PGA Tour’s Corales Championship.

Community Outreach

Mac Jones stopped by the Boys and Girls Club of Metro South in Brockton, Massachusetts, and made a contribution to the organization in the amount of $100,000.

Tua Tagovailoa’s foundation announced today that it will host its 2nd annual “Luau with Tua” on April 13 at Bryant Denny Stadium. Proceeds from the event will benefit Nick’s Kids Foundation and the Boys & Girls Clubs of West Alabama.

Gehrig Dieter returned to his high school alma mater, Washington High School in South Bend, Indiana, to talk to students on what it takes to be a professional.

Media Appearances

Spike McRoy and Wilson Furr spoke at Huntsville Championship media day yesterday. The Korn Ferry Tour event will be in Huntsville next month, with Furr receiving a sponsor’s exemption.

Jameson Williams was interviewed by the NFL Network at Alabama Pro Day, and discussed the progress of his recovery from knee surgery. Other Pro Day interviews included Evan Neal (with NFL Network), John Metchie (spoke with the SEC Network), and Phidarian Mathis (with NFL GameDay).

Trent Richardson was this week’s guest on The Bama Standard.
