Wade LeBlanc, currently a free agent, has announced his retirement from baseball. LeBlanc, who made his major league debut as a September call-up in 2008, pitched for 13 major league seasons (and also spent a season in Japan), and only once had the security of a two-year contract. LeBlanc finishes with 258 games (129 starts) and 931.1 innings pitched. He appeared with nine teams (and was also signed by two other organizations without appearing in the majors).

Rhyan White closed out the TYR Pro Swim Series in San Antonio with a win in the Women’s 200m Back. White also had a second place finish in the 100m Back yesterday.

Sherman Williams recently paid a visit to Gene Stallings at the retired coach’s ranch in Paris, Texas. In Williams’ words, “It was time.”
