NFL Draft Day 1
The New York Giants selected Evan Neal with the 7th pick in the first round. It marks the 14th consecutive year that an Alabama player has been selected in the first round (tying the all-time record), and the 40th first round selection of Nick Saban’s tenure at Alabama. The Giants have indicated that Neal will play right tackle.
The Detroit Lions traded up to select Jameson Williams with the 12th pick in the first round.
