Alabama Pro Athlete of the Week – Trey Mullinax (July 11)

Your Alabama Pro Athlete of the Week is Trey Mullinax. Mullinax sank a 15-foot birdie putt on the final hole to win the Barbasol Championship and clinch his first career PGA Tour victory. Mullinax earns a 2-year exemption on the Tour.

Saketh Myneni won the doubles title at the ATP Challenger Tour event in Porto, Portugal for his 6th doubles title of 2022. Myneni has now won 30 doubles championships in his professional career.

Kristian Gkolomeev won the gold medal in the Men’s 50m Freestyle at the Mediterannean Games.

Alana Gonçalo Da Silva had an 8 point, 6 rebound, 7 assist game in Sampaio’s first game of its semifinal playoff series.

Retin Obasohan had 16 points and 6 assists in Belgium’s last-second win over Serbia in a World Cup qualifier.

Alonzo Gee had a 14 point, 10 rebound game in the Big3 League.

Keon Ellis scored in double-figures in 3 summer league games, including a 15 point, 6 assist, 3 steal game.

J.D. Davison had a 10 point, 6 rebound, 6 assist game in his summer league debut.
