Matt Foster was odd man out for the Chicago White Sox when the team activated Vince Velasquez today, and was optioned to the Charlotte Knights of the International League. Foster was originally optioned by Chicago to Charlotte at the beginning of the season, but was recalled due to an injury before the White Sox played a game.
Haylie McCleney, a team captain again for Week 4 of Athletes Unlimited play, picked Sydney Littlejohn Watkins for next weekend’s play. Meanwhile, McCleney shares her leadership experiences from being a team captain this past week in Athletes Unlimited play.
Alana Gonçalo da Silva and Sampaio Basquete took a commanding 2-0 lead over Vera Cruz in the Liga de Basquete Feminino championship series. Sampaio could win the championship on Saturday.
