Kristian Gkolomeev took the bronze medal in the Men’s 50m Freestyle finals at the European Aquatics Championships today. Gkolomeev improved upon his 6th seed from semifinals time with a 21.75 second effort.

After working two scoreless innings in the Arizona Complex League, Dylan Ray received his first promotion today. The Diamondbacks re-assigned Ray to the Visalia Rawhide of the Single-A California League.

Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule revealed that Bradley Bozeman did not suffer a fracture when he injured his leg in a joint practice yesterday, but Bozeman could still miss 2-3 weeks recovering from the ankle injury.

The Philadelphia Inquirer looks at what David Robertson did during his stints with the Phillies, including playing in a men’s league in Rhode Island, while he worked his way back to the major leagues.

Community Outreach

During last year’s My Cause, My Cleats initiative, Mac Jones supported Boston Children’s Hospital with his cleats, and dedicated them to 7-year-old BCH patient Robbie Klein. This week at practice, Jones and Klein got to meet for the first time.
