Pia Rijsdijk opened the Azerion Eredivisie Vrouwen’s 2022-23 season in style today by scoring the go-ahead in Feyenoord Rotterdam’s 2-1 win over Excelsior Barendrecht. Rijsdijk, who didn’t start, was subbed in at the 60-minute mark and broke a 1-1 tie 8 minutes later.
Tyler Gentry’s season will continue after the conclusion of Texas League play. Gentry was named to the Arizona Fall League roster of the Surprise Saguaros today. The league will open play on October 3.
