Kira Lewis is back. Lewis, who’s 2021-22 season ended with a knee injury on December 8, 2021, played in his first game today following his rehab. Playing limited minutes, Lewis scored 18 points in 17 minutes for the Birmingham Squadron, and displayed his trademark speed on some steals and lane penetrations. See highlights below.

Minkah Fitzpatrick practiced today as a full participant, increasing the chances that he could possibly play 8 days after an appendectomy. Fitzpatrick talked to reporters today, and said he started feeling discomfort last Thursday, and decided to seek help after the team’s walk-through on Saturday. He says he went into surgery about 20 minutes after the walk-through.

Evan Neal returned to full practice today after being sidelined three weeks with a knee sprain.

The Indianapolis Star interviewed Ryan and Emma Kelly about how they dealt with losing their daughter last year, and what they’re doing now to raise awareness to prevent pregnancy terminations.

Derrick Henry’s rushing touchdown tonight gives him 10 rushing TDs for the 5th straight season. He is just the fifth player in NFL history to accomplish that feat (Shaun Alexander also did it).

Keon Ellis got into an NBA game tonight for the Sacramento Kings, marking his NBA debut. Ellis played the final two minutes of the Kings’ win.

Former San Antonio Spurs team psychologist Dr. Hillary Cauthen has resolved her lawsuit with Joshua Primo and the San Antonio Spurs. Terms of the settlement have not been disclosed.

New York Yankees blog Pinstripe Alley would like to see the team bring David Robertson back for a third tour of duty.

The Boston Globe has the story about how J.D. Davison was re-routed at LaGuardia Airport to Atlanta to join the Celtics last night, instead of flying with the Maine Celtics back to Portland. Davison was needed as insurance because Boston was without a couple of guards for last night’s game against the Hawks.

Isaac Odugbesan will make his WWE debut tomorrow night on WWE’s NXT Level Up program. Odugbesan, wrestling under the name Oba Femi, will be wrestling Chen. Program airs on Peacock at 9pm CT. Meanwhile, we’ve gotten our first glimpses of Isaac Odugbesan as a professional wrestler via Instagram.

Jarran Reed will be hosting a turkey giveaway in his hometown Goldsboro, North Carolina on Saturday. Piggly Wiggly is partnering with Reed on the event.
