Alabama snags 3 of the 6 nominee spots in the Week 12 FedEx awards. Josh Jacobs and Jalen Hurts are nominees for the FedEx Ground Player of the Week, while Mac Jones is a nominee for the FedEx Air Player of the Week.

Lots of former Alabama players get mentioned in Peter King’s Football Morning in America column today.

Herbert Jones had another Herb Jones type game tonight. In the final three seconds of a one-score game, Jones drew a charge, inbounded a pass off of a defender’s back, and sank two free throws to ice the game. Jones totalled 7 “stocks” (steals + blocks) during the game.

Kira Lewis was recalled by the New Orleans Pelicans from his rehab assignment in the G League today, marking the first time that Lewis has been on the Pelicans’ bench as an active player in about 51 weeks (though he didn’t get into the game). Lewis tore his ACL on December 8, 2021.

Najee Harris left tonight’s game near the end of the first half with an abdominal injury and did not return for the second half.

Justin Thomas has committed to participate in TGL’s Monday night golf league, which will launch in January 2024. TGL is a joint venture being launched by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, with participation from the PGA Tour.
