Brian Robinson is the Washington Commanders’ recipient of the 2022 Ed Block Courage Award. The Ed Block Courage Award is an annual award presented to a player from each team, as voted on by teammates, for being a role model of inspiration, sportsmanship, and courage.

For the second time in three months, a joint NFL-NFLPA investigation will review how the Miami Dolphins and independent medical staff handled Tua Tagovailoa under the league’s concussion protocols. Miami head coach Mike McDaniel confirmed today that Tagovailoa did suffer a concussion in Sunday’s game, but did not identify when it occurred. Tagovailoa played the game and was never removed from the game for a concussion review.
Landon Collins had doubts that he was going to get a chance this season to be a permanent part of the New York Giants’ roster. Now he could play a key role in the Giants’ playoff run.
Xavier McKinney was spotted working with training staff during the media viewing at practice today. McKinney did sprints, and then did some drills catching tennis balls. McKinney is probably still a longshot to return to the field during the regular season.
