Najee Harris ran for 111 yards, and scored the game-winning touchdown on a 10-yard touchdown reception with 1:02 left to keep Pittsburgh’s playoff hopes alive. The game marked Harris’ first 100-yard rushing game of the season.
Amari Cooper scored two second-half touchdowns, and finished the day with 105 yards on three catches in Cleveland’s 24-10 win over Washington, despite dealing with a hip injury. The two touchdowns give Cooper 9 receiving touchdowns on the season, which is a new career high. Cooper’s 9 touchdown receptions are the most by a Cleveland wide receiver since 2013.
With 95 yards from scrimmage today, Josh Jacobs became just the second Alabama player to exceed 2,000 scrimmage yards in an NFL season. Jacobs, now with 2,003 yards, is 138 yards shy of Derrick Henry’s 2,141 scrimmage yards from 2020. Jacobs’ 69 rushing yards today gives him a Raiders franchise record of 4,695 rushing yards in his first four seasons (passing Marcus Allen). Jacobs also ran for his 12th touchdown of the season, which matches his career best.
Xavier McKinney returned to action today for the New York Giants, who clinched a playoff spot with its win over Indianapolis. McKinney had been on the Non-Football Injury list since suffering a hand injury on vacation during New York’s bye week. McKinney ended up missing seven games.
Daron Payne added two more sacks today, giving him 11.5 sacks on the season. He ties a Washington franchise record for sacks in a season by an interior lineman (record was established in 1983 by Dave Butz).
DeVonta Smith had 115 receiving yards, marking the third straight week that he’s gone over the 100-receiving-yard mark (with two of those coming with a back-up quarterback).
