Shelby McEwen won his second career USATF Indoor Championship, and his third overall USATF title, with a win in today’s Men’s High Jump. McEwen only needed a jump of 2.24 meters to top the field.

Robert Dunning posted an indoor career-best run of 7.489 seconds to finish second in the Men’s 60 Meter Hurdles at the USATF Indoor Championships. Dunning missed out on winning by 0.004 seconds.

The incentives structure of Jimmy Nelson’s new contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers is based on a points system. He gets a point for each game started and each relief appearance where he records 10 or more outs. He starts receiving incentives for reaching 10 points, then gets additional incentives in 2-point increments. He can also reach incentives once he reaches 35 non-point appearances.

Brittany Thomas Kouandjio was inducted into the Chandler (AZ) Sports Hall of Fame today. Thomas, a 2012 graduate of Hamilton High School, led the Hamilton Huskies to a 2nd-ranked finish in the state her senior year. She was a four-year starter at Alabama, and placed in the school’s Top 10 in career kills, digs, attacks, and points.

Team Jazz, comprised of Collin Sexton and two Jazz teammates, won the NBA Skills Competition tonight at NBA All-Star Weekend.
