A couple of Alabama alumni re-upped with their current teams prior to hitting free agency. This morning, the Detroit Lions announced that they have re-signed Isaiah Buggs. The deal is reportedly a two-year contract, reportedly worth up to $6 million, with $2 million in guarantees and additional incentives. Later in the day, the Carolina Panthers announced that the team and Bradley Bozeman have agreed to terms on a new deal. Terms of the deal are reported to be three years, $18 million.

The Cleveland Browns are reportly planning to sign Dalvin Tomlinson to a four-year, $57 million contract with $27.5 million in guaranteed money. Since this deal would involve a player switching teams, no official announcement can be made before Wednesday.

Dicky Pride keeps working his way into Champions Tour events. Pride, who is playing without status on the tour this season, won the Hoag Classic Monday qualifier with a -5 66, securing one of three spots in the field.

Atlanta sports talk radio station 92.9 The Game announced its new morning show today, and Mike Johnson will be one of the co-hosts. Johnson will also work on Atlanta Falcons’ pre-game and post-game shows for the station.

The Athletic takes a look at the events that led to the Washington Commanders and Daron Payne agreeing on a new contract, and why the team’s potential sale and anticipated salary escalation among defensive tackles played roles in the timing.

A coroner’s report on the death of Ahmaad Galloway concludes that Galloway died of an accidental drug overdose. Galloway was found dead in his St. Louis area home in January.
