Herb Jones scored a career-high 35 points tonight to lead New Orleans to a 138-131 overtime win over Memphis. The Pelican clinched at least a spot in the play-in game with the win. In addition to a new milestone in points scored, Jones also reached new career highs in minutes played (43:37), field goals made (11), three-pointers made (5), and free throws made (8).

Collin Sexton is drawing rave reviews for returning to Utah’s lineup with four games left.

More minor league opening day assignments were announced. Brett Auerbach will return to Double-A Richmond in the Eastern League, while Casey Cobb returns to the Greenville Drive of the High-A South Atlantic League.

Justin Thomas made a putter switch for the Masters, and it’s partially attributable to trying out Rory McIlroy’s putter at a recent event.

Joe Klecko announced today that former teammate Marty Lyons will be his presenter at Klecko’s Pro Football Hall of Fame induction this summer.
