The USFL kicked off its second spring season this weekend, and today featured Reuben Foster appearing in his first professional game since October 28, 2018. Since then, Foster had dealt with a league suspension in the 2018 season, followed by a devastating knee injury that sidelined him until Washington released him after two seasons on Injured Reserve. Foster forced a fumble in the first half tonight that resulted in a Pittsburgh Maulers touchdown, and finished the game with 12 tackles.
Team USA announced its roster for the upcoming IWBF World Championships in Dubai. Players with Alabama ties include current team members Abby Bauleke, Ixhelt Gonzalez, Bailey Moody, and Lindsey Zurbrugg; alum Mackenzie Soldan, and one-time team member Emily Oberst.
