The Philadelphia Eagles held a press conference today to officially announce the signing of Jalen Hurts to a $255 million contract extension. On why he didn’t pursue a fully guaranteed deal, Hurts said “Look at great teams and great players, it takes a village. …We’ve got something special going on. We all want to do it for a long time. That was important to me to take that approach with it.” Hurts also said “Money is nice. Championships are better.” Full video of the press conference is below.

A’Shawn Robinson agreed to terms with the New York Giants today, one month after making a free agent visit to the team. Robinson is expected to help the team beef up against the run, which was a weakness in 2022. Robinson’s contract is reportedly a one-year contract, with incentives that would take it up to $8 million.

Jason Bohn turns 50 day, meaning that he is now eligible to play in Champions Tour events. Bohn currently has no status on the Champions Tour, but will get a certain number of starts based on PGA Tour wins and all-time earnings. He’s the third alternate in this week’s field at the Insperity Invitational..
