Justin Thomas shot a 2nd round 67 at the Wells Fargo Championship, and is T-4th at the halfway point. Memories of past successes at Quail Hollow have Thomas in a good head space this week.

Former Alabama tight end Michael Nysewander is expected to be hired as tight ends coach at Jacksonville State University. Nysewander current serves as an analyst at Ole Miss. Nysewander said goodbyes to Ole Miss later in the day.

Former Alabama baseball player Tim Sims picked up his 500th coaching win yesterday. Sims is head coach of Hernando High School in Florida.

Dylan Ray was named Arizona Diamondbacks’ Minor League Pitcher of the Month for April.

Adam Morgan, Ronnie Harrison, and Jimmy Johns returned to campus this weekend to receive their diplomas. Morgan also threw out the first pitch at Alabama’s game versus Vanderbilt.

Najee Harris served as master of ceremonies at Canelo Alvarez’ weigh-in for his upcoming fight with John Ryder in Mexico.
