Evansville Otters pitcher Eric Foggo, who first pitched in a professional game last Friday, had his contract purchased by the New York Mets. Foggo appeared in 3 of the Otters’ first 4 games, going 3 scoreless innings with 4 strikeouts.

Wilson Furr picked up where he left off at the last KFT event. Furr shot an opening round 63 (-9) to grab the first round lead at the AdventHealth Championship. Furr had a stretch of 6 birdies over 7 holes in the middle of his round. Today’s round was the second time in Furr’s last three rounds that he has set a course record.

Defending champion Justin Thomas stumbled late in the opening round of the PGA Championship, but his first 14 holes looked like a blueprint for success.

Community Outreach

Cam Sims and Cam Robinson will co-host a free football camp on June 24 at West Monroe High School in Louisiana. Camp is desinged for childen in the first through eighth grades.

Jarran Reed has two events scheduled for June 16-18 in Goldsboro, North Carolina. On June 16, Reed is hosting a skating party at the Round-a-Bout Skate Center. On the 18th, Reed is co-hosting a Community Day and Basketball Tournament at H.V. Brown Park.
