Connor Prielipp is scheduled to undergo elbow surgery next Monday with Dr. Keith Meister in Texas. The Twins won’t know the full extent of the procedure (full or partial TJ surgery) until Prielipp is at the clinic. This will be Prielipp’s second surgery on his pitching elbow, having also had UCL replacement surgery in 2021 while at Alabama.
Retin Obasohan is on the move again. Obasohan has signed with Derthona Basket of Italy’s Serie A league for the 2023-24 season.
Patrick Kaukovalta has received a main draw wild card entry for next week’s Tampere Open on the ATP Challenger Tour. It’ll be Kaukovalta’s first ATP event since playing in the Tampere Open as a junior in 2017.
