John Metchie made his first media appearances since being cleared for football activity. He talked about how grateful he is for the support he received and how glad he is to be back on the practice field. Metchie says he relied heavily on his faith to get through the cancer fight.

Dylan Ray was named Northwest League Pitcher of the Month for July. Ray was 4-0 in 4 starts, with a 0.72 ERA for the month.

Heartfire, which includes Tevin Mack, won the $1 million prize for winning The Basketball Tournament.

Kalia Antoniou picked up a bronze medal in the Women’s 100m Freestyle at the World University Games in China.

Mercy Chelangat has joined the Northern Arizona Elite pro training group in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Jim Jarvis made his professional debut with the Lakeland Flying Tigers tonight. Jarvis got the start at third base.

Mac Jones has made it a goal to have more fun in the 2023 season.
