Haylie McCleney and Montana Fouts have been named to Team USA for the upcoming Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile. The Games get underway on October 29.
Ryan Kelly is among the team captains named by the Indianapolis Colts today. This will be Kelly’s first year as a team captain. Eddie Jackson was designated as a team captain for the Chicago Bears as well.
Kenny King and Clyde Wilson Butler Jr. will be this year’s recipients of the Paul W. Bryant Alumni-Athlete Award. The former players will be recognized at Alabama’s season opener on Saturday.
Benedetta Moresco and Sarah Edwards both advanced to the second stage of LPGA Tour qualifying. Edwards is still competing as an amateur.
