Erin Routliffe has reached the semifinals in a grand slam event for the first time in her career. Routliffe and partner Gabriela Dabrowski survived a 3-set thriller of 6-seeded Fernandez / Townsend to advance to the Women’s Doubles semifinals at the US Open. Routliffe / Dabrowski were down 4-1 in the third set, then 7-2 in the third set tiebreaker before prevailing.
