Nick Dunlap officially announced today that he is turning professional and accepting PGA Tour membership. His professional debut will be at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am next week. Dunlap’s announcement today was preceded by an emotional meeting with his teammates 48 hours earlier.

David Robertson and the Texas Rangers have reportedly agreed to terms on a one year deal in the $11-12 million range. Robertson will be pitching in his 16th season in the 2024 season. 

Merel Van Dongen scored a career-high 3 goals tonight in Rayadas de Monterrey’s win over Cruz Azul. Van Dongen now has 4 goals since joining the Mexican side earlier this month.

DeMeco Ryans has been named NFL Coach of the Year by the Pro Football Writers of America. This is the second straight year that Ryans has been honored by the PFWA (he was named the NFL Assistant Coach of the Year by the organization last year). 

DeMeco Ryans (Coach of the Year), Tua Tagovailoa (Comeback Player of the Year), Jahmyr Gibbs (Offensive Rookie of the Year), and Will Anderson (Defensive Rookie of the Year) are all finalists for AP NFL awards, which will be announced during Super Bowl weekend.

Emma Talley, who’s not in the field for this week’s LPGA Drive On Championship, is co-hosting LPGA Now, the tour’s nightly wrap-up show, this week.
