New England is reportedly finalizing a deal to trade Mac Jones to Jacksonville for a 6th round pick. Trade would become effective with the beginning of the league year on Wednesday. Jones would become the primary backup for Trevor Lawrence, and would hit free agency after the 2024 season (presuming that Jacksonville does not pick up his 5th year option).
The Carolina Panthers are expected to release Bradley Bozeman at the beginning of the league year this coming week.
