Keon Ellis, getting his 9th start of the season for Sacramento, recorded a career-high 19 points in the Kings’ road victory in Orlando. Ellis also had a career-high 37 minutes of playing time.
Kira Lewis received his first rotation minutes since joining Utah last month. Lewis had season highs in minutes played, points, and rebounds, and matched a season high in assists. Previous highs were with New Orleans earlier in the season.
Of the golfers in contention in their respective tournaments yesterday, only Davis Shore was able to maintain his position in the Top 10. Shore shot a 76 in miserable conditions at the Bupa Championship, but goes into the final round at -2, just 2 shots off the lead. Shore is seeking his second career title on the PGA Americas Tour (he won an event on PGA Tour Canada last year).
