Jacob McNairy announced his retirement from professional baseball today. McNairy, who was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 2022 draft but returned to school, signed with the Mariners as an undrafted free agent following the 2023 draft. He appeared in his first and only professional game last week for the Modesto Nuts.
