Felicia Knox becomes the first-ever signee of Fort Lauderdale United of the upstart USL Super League, which begins play in August. Knox is the second Alabama alum to join the league. Riley Mattingly Parker signed with the Tampa Bay Sun late last month.

Adelaide United announced that Maruschka Waldus won’t be returning to the team for the 2024-25 season. Waldus has spent three seasons in Adelaide.

Elina Sinz became the latest golfer to qualify for the US Women’s Open. Sinz finished -5, T2, and prevailed in a 2-for-1 playoff for the final qualifying spot at the qualifier in Pearland, Texas. She joins Kristen Gillman, Jiwon Jeon, and Lauren Stephenson in advancing from qualifiers (Cheyenne Knight was already exempt).

Athletes Unlimited held its annual softball draft tonight. Former Alabama players Skylar Wallace and Lexi Kilfoyl were selected to play in the players league this year.

The Arena Football League, which is only three weeks into its re-launch and is already plagued with financial problems, announced a change in leadership and a contraction in league size. Left out of the revamped 10-team league were the Louisiana Voodoo, whose roster include Cody Mandell.

Levi Randolph’s annual basketball camp will be held June 29 at Bob Jones High School. Later that evening, the annual Levi Randolph Summer Classic Game will be played at the school as well.
