Today marked the opening day of the Chattanooga Steam’s inaugural season, as well as the professional debut of Kaylee Tow. Tow delivered a game-tying 2-run homer in the 6th inning for her first hit and the first runs scored by the franchise. The Steam would defeat the Florida Vibe 4-3.
Anton McKee was the fastest swimmer in the Men’s 200m Breaststroke in both the heats and the semifinals today at the European Aquatics Championships. He’ll swim for the championship tomorrow evening.
Darby Rich has been hired as the men’s basketball strength and conditioning coach at the University of Texas. Rich’s previous stops have included Texas A&M, Texas Tech, and Memphis.
