Nick Dunlap, playing in the last group at the FedEx St. Jude Championship today, went to the final hole needing a par to finish T-5th, and secure a Top 50 spot in the FedEx Cup points. Dunlap parred 18, and came away 48th in FedEx Cup standings. The Top 50 in points following this week advance to next week’s second stage of the FedEx Cup playoffs, and also secure spots in the 8 lucrative signature events in the 2025 season. Justin Thomas, who finished T-30th this week, was securely within the Top 50, and goes into next week’s event ranked 22nd in points.

Erin Routliffe, playing without her regular doubles partner this week, won the Cincinnati Open for her 7th career WTA championship, and her 23rd overall professional title. The Cincinnati Open is her first title in a WTA 1000 level event. She has now won championships this year with 3 different doubles partners.

Krystal Goodman has been named head softball coach at Heartland Community College in Normal, Illinois.

Community Outreach

Derrick Henry hosted a backpack giveaway at an area Baltimore school this week.
