Daily Recap – September 16, 2024

News

The Carolina Panthers announced today that they are benching Bryce Young as starting quarterback. Young, now in his second season after being the #1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, is coming off of two lackluster performances after Carolina made yet another coaching change in the off-season to improve the offense (Carolina has had 5 head coaches in the last three seasons).

Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel reported in his press conference today that Tua Tagovailoa was in the Dolphins’ building today and was in good spirits. McDaniel also said it was premature to decide if Tagovailoa would be placed on Injured Reserve.
