In Memoriam
Former Alabama running back Linnie Patrick has died at the age of 63. Cause of death is unknown at this time. Patrick was an all-state performer at Walker County High School in Jasper before signing with Alabama and playing on the final Paul Bryant-coached teams. Patrick would also spend some time in the USFL.

News
NBA G League teams announced training camp rosters today, with 6 former Alabama players on team rosters. There are no surprises – all are either on two-way contracts (J.D. Davison) or were Exhibit 10 signees by the NBA affiliate. The players on camp rosters are J.D. Davison (Maine), Kira Lewis (Capital City), Charles Bediako (Grand Rapids), Joshua Primo (Windy City), Jaden Shackelford (Valley), and Braxton Key (San Diego).
Najee Harris rushed for a season-high 114 yards and logged his third consecutive 100-yard rushing game in Pittsburgh’s win over New York.
Will Anderson is already establishing career bests at the halfway mark of the season.
The MMQB has a column imploring the Carolina Panthers to do right by Bryce Young at the trade deadline, either by trading him or bringing in pieces to help him succeed.
